A dissertation project is an empirically based research study that is an original piece of work by the Post Graduate students. An empirically based research is based on data that are produced by experiment or observation, rather than opinion. The dissertation project must be an original piece of work because it represents the student culminating research and writing skills. Completing a dissertation project, demonstrates the ability of a student to conduct original research, review existing literature, collect data, analyse data, report results, discuss conclusions and draw implications from research findings.
The institute takes great pride in the quality of the dissertation projects undertaken and submitted by its post graduate students. These projects are a singularly distinguishing factor of the institute amongst all B-schools. The projects are on contemporary topics in management and the rigour in research makes it even more worth while.
