Rizvi Institute of Management Studies & Research – Nargis Dutt Memorial Charitable Trust Partnership for “SAVE A LIFE”

The Need
The platelet is single most important element in the treatment of a cancer patient and there is a dire need for them at all hospitals in India. Through this endeavor we aim to motivate and educate the citizens of Mumbai to come forward for this noble cause.

The Initiative
“Save A Life” is an initiative started in 2009 by the Nargis Dutt Memorial Charitable Trust in association with TATA Memorial Hospital to create awareness and encourage platelet donation among students in the city. The ‘Save A Life” initiative aims at targeting senior college students and employees of Multinational Companies and corporate houses to come forward and further this cause. Rizvi Institute of Management Studies & Research has been associated with this engagement with NDMCT since its inception in 2009.

The Impact
Over 500 students from Rizvi Group of Colleges donated platelets for Save a Life Campaign.
